Oktoberfest Busker
I saw this musician near the corner of King and Frederick Streets in Kitchener. He was ready to welcome people from Canada, United States and Germany. This is the final weekend of Oktoberfest 2010.
Kitchener City Hall
This picture was taken on October 8, 2010 which was a perfect fall day. The official opening of Oktoberfest was held a couple of hours earlier and these people relaxed in front of City Hall while listening to live Bavarian music. The Oktoberfest Parade will pass by here today. Here is the parade schedule.
Downtown Kitchener Oktoberfest Midway
I have featured a picture of a place of worship each Sunday this year and St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church is in the background behind the carnival. The following information is from the Kitchener Downtown website:
The midway hours of operation are Friday October 8th Noon – 9pm, Saturday October 9th, 11am – 9pm and Sunday October 10th, 11 am – 9pm. Advanced tickets for the midway will be available at Hans Haus for only $20 leading up to Oktoberfest.
